Location
First in use in 1966, the airport is about 18 km or 14 miles south of downtown, in the town of Tlajomulco de Zuniga. The signposted access road is on Highway MEX-23 towards Chapala (Carretera Guadalajara - Chapala). There is a bus that operates at 60 minute intervals during the day between the airport and downtown. Alternatively, please take a taxi or rent a car.
