First in use on 16 February 1955, the airport is about 7 km or 4 miles west of the city centre on West Beach. From the city centre take the main road A6 (Sir Donald Bradman Drive) and follow the airport signs.
A shuttle bus operates a regular service between the airport and the city or Keswick railway station, between approximately 6.00 am and 9.30 pm at 60 minute intervals (Skylink Adelaide). The public buses J1, J2, J3 and J7 JetBus also operate between the airport and the city. Current departure times are available locally. Alternatively, please take a taxi or rent a car.
