Location
The airport is about 5 km or 3 miles east of the Zócalo (Plaza de la Constitución), the famous and most important square in downtown Mexico city. By car please use the MEX-136d (Autopista Penon - Texcoco), MEX-150 (Carretera Federal Mexico - Puebla), MEX-190D (Autopista México - Puebla).
All the usual means of transport are available (bus, taxi, subway, car rentals, Colectivo) for the onward journey. The metro station "Terminal Aérea" (Metro line 5) is only about 150 meters from the the national area of the first terminal building. The bus station is also nearby and operates regular services to nearby cities such as Cuernavaca, Puebla, Pchuca, Queréretaro, Toluca and Córdoba.
