First in use in 1983, the airport is about 30 km or 24 miles south of Amman, in the village Al Jiza. Between the airport and Amman there is a bus that operates during the day between approximately 7 am and 10 pm at 30-minute intervals and between 10 pm and 7 am at 60 minute intervals (Sariyah Express). Alternatively, please take a taxi or rent a car.
