Location
Following modernization in 2004, Accra is now West Africa's most modern airport and is about 10 kilometers or 6 miles northeast of downtown. Numerous taxis and minibuses operate service between the city and the airport, these are known as Tro-Tro's (bush taxis), there is currently no regular shuttle bus.
