Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport is a large and very significant airport in the province of Fujian in the east of China. It serves as a hub for Xiamen Airlines, China's oldest regional airline.

Location
Opened in 1941, the airport is located about 10 km or 7 miles northeast of downtown and can be reached using the G319 Chenggong Avenue. A regular shuttle bus operates between downtown and the airport, current timetables are available locally. There are also taxis at the airport for transfer to and from the city.
