The airport is about 7 miles southeast of downtown on the highway BR-135 towards Bacabeira. The bus 901 operates at 30 minute intervals between the airport and the railway station. Alternatively take the faster Socorrao 2/ Rodoviaria to the city from the nearby filling station just outside the airport grounds.
