Location
Taken into use in 1957 the airport is about 7 miles south of the inner city on the highway DF-025, opposite the zoo. The shuttle buses numbers 101 and 102 operate a daily service between the airport and the inner city at 30 minute intervals. There are also the micro buses 11 and 30 as well as numerous taxis from the airport.
