History
The American low -cost airline Sun Country Airlines was founded in 1982 in Minneapolis by employees of the bankrupt Braniff International Airways. After an eventful 2 decades, in which another bankruptcy could be averted, the meanwhile profitable company now focuses on providing low-cost scheduled flights within the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Network
The airline’s network of routes currently includes 40 different destinations. Amongst the airports served regularly are: Cancun, Indianapolis, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Mazatlan, Montego Bay, Nashville, Puerto Vallarta, St. Maarten and Toledo.
