Airport Naxos

Naxos Airport is an important nationally operating airport in Greece. It is on the island of the same name, the largest island in the Caclades, in the southern Aegean Sea. The islands are a popular tourist destination especially in the summer season. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location
The airport was opened in 1992 and is less than 1 mile south of the capital city of the island (Chora). From Naxos City the airport is signposted. There is currently no shuttle bus service to and from the airport. Taxis are available in most towns.
