Airport Milos

Milos Airport is an important nationally operating airport in Greece. It is on the south Aegean volcanoc island of the same name aand belongs to the Cyclades. Due to the "Venus of Milo" the island is well known worldwide. This statue of Aphrodite has since 1821 been housed in the Louvre in Paris, but a copy can be seen in the Archaeological museum in Plaka. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location
Opened in 1973, the airport is about 4 miles south of the seaport Adamas and is clearly signposted. There is currently no shuttle service to and from the airport. Taxis are available in every town.
