Kalymnos Airport is an important national airport in Greece. It is in the south west on the island of the same name in the East Aegean, which is north west of Kos and 11 miles from the Turkish coast. The island forms a municipality together with the two smaller inhabited islands of Pserimos and Telendos, and belongs to the Dodecanese prefecture. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location
Opened on 10th august 2006, the airport is about 3 miles north west of the islands capital Pothia, near the village of Argos. Take the car from Pothia towards Kantouni, from Pothia the airport is signposted.
