First in operation in 1960, the airport is about 8 km or 5 miles south of Enfield and approximately 37 km or 26 miles north of Halifax. Access to the terminal is signposted on Highway # 102 at exit 6. Between the airport and Halifax, the Dartmouth Airporter shuttle service operates a regular service. For current departure times please enquire locally. Alternatively, please take a taxi, shuttle van, intercity buses (for example to Dartmouth, Bedford, Fredericton, Moncton, Sydney or Yarmouth) or rent a car.
