Florianópolis International - Hercílio Luz Airport is an important airport in Brazil. It is located near the provincial capital of the same name in the southern federal state Santa Catarina.

Location

First in use in 1955, the airport is about 6 miles south of downtown Florianopolis. From Florianópolis take the BR-282 ( Rodovia Aderbal Ramos da Silva) highway southbound and just behind Costeira do Pirajube at the junction follow the signs to the airport.

Passengers arriving by bus head for Florianópolis central bus station (rodoviária), in Avenida Paulo Fontes and then either use a taxi or the bus to the airport.
