Airport Dublin DUB
Dublin International Airport (ir. Aerfort Bhaile Átha Cliath) is the largest and most important airport in Ireland and also the seat of the Irish airlines Aer Lingus and Ryanair. It is one of the 20 largest airports in Europe handling 23 million passengers a year.- URL: Official website

Location
Dublin airport was opened on 19th January 1940 and is about 6 miles north of downtown Dublin, near the suburb Swords. Passengers arriving by car please take the M1. Follow the M1 to the exit signs for the airport and then follow the signs to the parking. From Dublin, the airport can also be reached on the R132 and from Dundalk or Drogheda via the R127/132.
Rail passengers take trains to Dublin Connolly Railway Station (ir. Stásiún Ui Chonghaile) or Heuston Railway Station and then use the Airlink airport bus 747 or 748 that leaves at 10 to 20 minute intervals. The journey takes about 35 minutes. From downtown Dublin the public bus numbers 16a, 41, 41b, 46x, 58x, 102 and 746 as well as the coach companies Aircoach, Flybus and Urbus also serve the airport.
