Location
First in use in 1940, the airport is about 9 kilometres or 5 miles northwest of downtown, on the State Highway # 1. The buses 10 (via Merivale) and 29 (Fendalton) operate regular services from downtown to the airport. There are also plenty of taxis at the airport.
