Opened in1960, the airport is about 8 miles east of downtown Antalya and may be easily reached via the main road D-400 (Mersin-Antalya Yolu).
Bus passengers head for Antalya central bus station and then take the city bus 202 (at 60 minute intervals between 7 am and 11 pm) or the Havaş airport shuttle to the airport.
