Montgomery Airport, also known as Then Elly Field, is the most important airport in central southeastern Alabama. Besides being a commercial airport the U.S. Air Force also has a base on the site.

The airport is about 7 miles southwest of the city centre. Motorists take the Interstate 65 towards Montgomery to exit # 167 onto Selma Highway. The airport is then signposted.

From downtown Montgomery the bus number 6 serves the departure terminal on a daily basis; for current departure times, please enquire locally.
