La Gomera Airport was opened in June 1999 and is now the youngest and most modern of the airports on the Canary Islands. Only domestic flights are currently operated from the airport due to the short runway. The airport is managed by AENA, also responsible for monitoring Spanish airspace.

Location
The airport is situated in the south, near the small town of Playa de Santiago. Motorists should take the CV-11 or C-9 towards Santiago, and follow the signs to the airport.

Buses run several times a day between San Sebastian and Valle Gran Rey. For current departure times please enquire at the bus station.
