Location
The airport was opened in 1953 and is 2 miles north of the city centre. Take the National Road 20/E853 towards Ioannina and just before reaching the city follow the signs o the airport grounds. Passengers arriving by bus, head for the central bus station in Ioannina and then change for the bus route 2, which runs at regular intervals to the airport.
