History
The Costa Rican airline Sansa Airlines was established in 1980 in San Jose, and is now a regional offshoot of the great Central American airline Grupo TACA from El Salvador, which besides owning Sansa Regional, also owns Aviateca in Guatemala, Islena in Honduras, La Costena in Nicaragua and Aeroperlas in Panama.
Network
Sansa Airline’s network includes all major airports in Costa Rica, served daily from the hub in San Jose; these include Liberia, Tamarindo, Quepos, Puerto Jimenez, Golfito, Punta Islita and Tortuquero.
