Location
Opened in 1966, the airport is about 7 miles north west of the city centre. From Erzurum use, please use the main road 25-75 (Erzurum Havalaani Yolu) which leads directly to the airport grounds.

Rail and bus passengers head for Erzurum main bus or rail station and then take a taxi or a dolmus to the airport.
