Chios Airport is an important national commercial airport in Greece. It is on the island of the same name in the north Aegean, which at its narrowest point is only 4 miles from the Turkish coast. The island is located between Lesvos and Samos. The airport is administered by the Greek aviation authority (Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority), also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location
The airport was opened in 1969 and is on the east coast by the Gulf of Izmir only about 2 miles from Chios city (Chora). Use the road from Chios (Chora) – Karfas and then follow the sings to the airport.
