Central Mountain Air (CMA) was established in 1987 and is a Western Canada privately owned and operated company. Central Mountain Air in-conjunction with Air Canada offers Air Canada connecting customers the ability to make convenient same airport-terminal flight connections with Air Canada to regional, national and International destinations, which Air Canada sells and markets directly. Air Canada connecting customers traveling to or from Campbell River, Comox, Quesnel & Williams Lake, BC through Vancouver's International airport will be provided with onward boarding passes and through checked baggage.
Central Mountain Air maintains bases in Smithers, Vancouver, Calgary and employs approximately 300 people including administrative, maintenance and flight Personnel. Smithers is the headquarters of CMA and operates a regional administrative, sales and marketing office in Calgary.
Central Mountain Air currently operates a modern fleet of fourteen Beech1900D; twin engine turboprop aircraft offering a comfortable, pressurized environment, the 18 leather seat aircraft also provides a roomy stand-up cabin and washroom facilities.
