Location
First in use in 1964 , the airport is 44 km or 27 miles east of the capital Windhoek, near the Afrikafarm Ondekaremba. To reach it please use the highway B6 (Trans - Kalahari). There is a shuttle service that operates between the airport and Windhoek or Windhoek Eros Airport after each landing. Alternatively use a taxi or rental car.
