Vladivostok International Airport is one of the largest and most important airports of the Russian federal district “Far East". The port city of Vladivostok is located on the Sea of Japan and is the capital of the Primorye region.
Vladivostok is also the home base and the main hub of Vladivostok Avia. Regular Russian domestic flights operate to Kabarovsk, Ekaterinburg, Moscow, Petropavlovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Opened in 1932, the airport is about 44 km or 25 miles northeast of Vladivostok and about 4 km or 2 miles northwest of the city of Artyom, near the community Knevichi. Motorists can reach the airport following the signs on the highway A-188.
Between the airport and the centre of Vladivostok and the central station there is a regular shuttle bus service. There is also a regular bus service between the airport and Artyom. All current departure times are available locally, otherwise please take a shuttle van or taxi.
