Airport Astana NQZ

Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport used to be called Astana International Airport and is one of the most important and largest airports in the Central Asian republic of Kazakhstan. It is currently one of the most modern airports on the Eurasian continent and is a hub of the national carrier Air Astana.

Opened in the 1931, the airport is about 19 km or 12 miles south of downtown. It is easy to reach on the highway to Rozhdestvenka (Рождественка).
