Airport Kos KGS
Kos International Airport is an important airport in Greece. It is on the third largest of the southern Aegean Dodecanese islands, between Kalymnos and Nisiros. At ist narrowest point the Aegean is only 2 miles from the turkish mainland. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.- URL: Official website

Location
The airport was opened in 1963 and is 18 miles west of the capital of the island near the town of Antimachia. From here, the airport is signposted.
There is a shuttle bus that operates before every Olympic airlines arrival and runs passengers to the capital. All other tourists can take local buses operated by the KTEL to Kos, Mastichari, Kardamena or Kefalos.
