Kittila Airport is a major regional civilian airport in Finland. It is located in the northern Finnish province of Lapland. The airport is used primarily during the annual skiing season from October to May due to its proximity to the two main alpine ski areas and Levi Yllästunturi.

Seasonal charter flights as well as scheduled flights operate on a regular basis to Ivalo and to the capital Helsinki, from there connecting flights are available.

Location
The airport was opened in 1983 and is located approximately 3 miles north of downtown Kittilä. From Kittilä use the main road 79 in a northerly direction and follow the airport signs.

There is a mini shuttle bus that operates between Levi and the airport regularly for every Finnair flight, it is operated by Pekkalan Tunturilinjat Oy. There are also other regular shuttle bus connections during the peak season between the airport and Äkäslompolo, Ylläsjärvi and with prior reservation, also to Muonio, Olos, Jeris and Pallas.
