Airport Kithira

Kythira Airport is an important nationally operating airport in Greece. It is on the ionian island of the same name situated directly at the northern tip of the Peloponnese opposite Cape Malea, and is part of the prefecture of Pireus. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location
The airport was opened in 1972 and is in the north east of the island about 12 miles from the islands capital, Kithira. There is currently no shuttle bus service to and from the airport. Taxis are available in every town.
