Karpathos Airport is an important nationally operating airport in Greece. It is in the far south east of the island of the same name in the south Aegean, which is also the second largest island in the Dodekanese after Rhodes. It is between Rhodes and Crete. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location
The airport was opened in 1970 and is 7 miles south west of the main town of Pigadia. By car please follow the signs to the airport. There is currently no shuttle bus link to the airport. Charter airlines and travel agents normally transport their passengers to and from the airport.
