Inverness Airport is the largest of the 10 airports in the highlands of Scotland. More than 330 aircraft land and take off from the airport every week. It is the main airport for destinations in the north of Scotland. The airport is managed by the Highlands and Islands Airports Limited, as are the other 9 highland airports. There are regular regional air connections to all surrounding commercial airports and aerodromes, such as Kirkwall, Stornoway, Wick, Sumburgh and Benbecula.
