Ikaria airport is an important national airport in Greece. It is on the east Aegean island of the same name about 12 miles west of Samos and part of the same prefecture. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location
Opened in 1995, the airport is about 7 miles north east of the islands capital Agios Kirikos. Take the car towards Perdikion and after leaving the town follow the signs to the airport. There is a shuttle to the capital after every Olympic airline flight arrival.
