Grand Junction Regional Airport, also known as Walker Field, is a small airport located in the administrative district of Mesa County, Colorado. Grand Junction is particularly popular in the summer months for tourists on activity holidays. It is the ideal starting point for white-water rafting along Gunnison River, a river that is well known nationwide for its strong currents and many rapids.
