Location
The airport was opened in 1988 and is located about 5 miles southeast of downtown. From Erzincan please use the D-100/E80 (Erzurum - Erzincan Yolu) towards Erzurum to the exit signposted to the airport and to Yogurtlu, alternatively, from Erzincan use the 24-26 (Yolu Caglayan) towards Catalören and then follow the airport signs to Yogurtlu.

Rail and bus passengers head for Erzincan main bus or train stations and then take a minibus (dolmus) or a taxi to the airport.
