The airport is located near the A338 towards St. Leonards. Motorists should take the A31 and in St. Leonards turn onto the A338 towards Bournemouth; the airport is then signposted.

Those arriving by train should go to Bournemouth Railway Station and then use the Bournemouth Airport Shuttle that runs at 30-minute intervals and takes about 15 minutes to reach the airport. Alternatively, the local public transport bus number 747 also goes to the airport at regular intervals.
