Winair currently has a fleet of 5 De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter and 3 Britten-Norman Islander BN-2A machines.
History
The state-owned Windward Islands Airways, short Winair, was founded on August 24th 1961 in the Netherlands Antilles. Since then the airline primarily transported passengers between the Greater Antilles and the Lesser Antilles in the north-eastern Caribbean, but also offers charter flights.
Network
Winair operates flights from its base, Princess Juliana International Airport on Sant Maarten, and from VC Bird Int. Airport on Antigua, to all of the larger islands in the northern Caribbean, such as Anguilla, Montserrat, Nevis, St. Kitts, Saba, Saint Barthelemy, St. Eustatius and Tortola.
