Fleet

History
The Spanish low-cost airline Vueling was founded in 2004 in Barcelona by investors of the media company Planeta Group, the investment group Apax Fund and managers of the US-American low-cost airline Jet Blue Airways. The airline’s maiden flight took place on 1 July of the same year, on the route from Barcelona to Ibiza. Since then Vueling’s destinations have increased steadily and the airline now operates not from Barcelona, but also has two more hubs in Madrid and Paris. The airline is one of the most popular low-cost airlines in Europe on a par with Air Berlin and Easy Jet.
Network
Vueling’s network of routes encompasses almost 30 departure airports in southern and south-western Europe. The airline flies from its hubs in Barcelona, Madrid and Paris to destinations such as Athens, Ibiza, Naples, Lisbon and Nice.
