History
Founded in 1993, the company was the first to offer a commuter service in the Gulf region. The first destinations were Abu Dhabi, Doha and Madras. The airline took delivery of its first Airbus A320 in 1998. Meanwhile, the flight schedule includes more than 40 international destinations and 3 points of call in Oman.
Network
Oman Air currently serves more than 40 worldwide destinations from its hub in Muscat International, with a special focus on destinations within the Gulf region, such as the airports of Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai or Kuwait. Furthermore, Oman Air also serves several destinations on the Indian subcontinent, including flights to Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi or Delhi. European destinations include Frankfurt, Munich, Milan, London, Paris, Barcelona or Zurich
