History
The national airline Belavia Belarus was launched on March 5th 1996 in the capital of Minsk with a number of Aeroflot planes. Only 2 years later it merged with the other Belarus Minsk Avia airline, and thereby gained a more modern fleet. Since then, the airlines network has expanded annually. Meanwhile, many airports in Europe, the Middle East, the CIS countries are served regularly, from where the connections with other airlines are conveniently timed.
Network
Belavia operates daily flights from its base in Minsk to over 20 airports in Europe, the CIS and the Middle East, including to Baku, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Kaliningrad, Larnaca, Moscow, Paris, Sochi, Tbilisi, Yerevan and Vienna.
