The airline at present (November 2007) owns 3 Embraer EMB-110 Interest Bandera, 2 SAAB 340, 1 Cessna Aircraft 172 and 1 Piper PA-30.
History
The private airline Air Rarotonga was founded in February 1978 by three investors in Avua on the most densely populated and largest island of the Cook Islands, Rarotonga. The airline has since been successfully transporting freight and passengers within the island state. The airline also provides tours and charter flights for instance to Tahiti, Tonga and Samoa.
Network
The airline flies from its base and the hub on Rarotonga regularly to the regional airports of Aitutaki, Atiu, Mangaia, Manihiki, Mauke, Mitiaro, Penrhyn. The sole international destination at present is Papeete.
