History
The Kazakh national airline Air Astana, was founded on 14th September 2001 as a successor to the bankrupt Air Kasakhstan in Astana. The network of the airline, although expanded repeatedly over the years, is still limited to destinations in Asia and Europe.
Network
Air Astana flies from its base in Astana, as well as its major hub in Almaty to more than 25 different destinations in Europe and Asia, including to Amsterdam, Hannover, Istanbul, London-Heathrow, Bangkok, Beijing, Seoul, Moscow and Delhi.
