Airport Yakutsk

Airport Yakutsk

Yakutsk International Airport is one of the largest airports in the Russian Federation.

Yakutsk is a hub of Yakutia Airlines. Besides regular scheduled flights to Khabarovsk and Moscow, numerous flights also serve other Russian cities such as Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok. There are also seasonal charter flights from Yakutsk for example to Antalya, Bangkok or Sanya.

Due to the climatic conditions, the airport in Yakutsk is the only location worldwide where new flight techniques at extremely low temperatures are tested.
