| Description: Venice (Treviso) Airport (Italian: Aeroporto di Treviso-Sant’Angelo ”Antonio Canova“) is an Italian airport in San Giuseppe, Treviso. The airport used to be a military airbase and is located 3 km south-west of Treviso, about 20 km from Venice. Treviso airport is also sometimes called Venice-Treviso airport. Treviso-Sant’Angelo airport has only recently been referred to as Venice Airport, intending to give the impression that the airport is the airport of the nearby city of Venice, which in actual fact has its own international airport: Marco Polo Airport.
