The airport is located about 25 km or 15 miles northwest of Petropavlovsk, near the community Yelizovo. Motorists can follow the signs on the highway P-474 to get to the airport.

Between the airport and Petropavlovsk, the shuttle buses 102 and 104 operate a regular service. The bus routes 1,7,8, 102 and 104 also go to Yelizovo. Detals are available locally.
