Gallup Municipal Airport is an important airport in the US state of New Mexico. It is in McKinley County, which borders to the west on Arizona. The town, the county and the surrounding areas in New Mexico and Arizona have the highest density of "Native Americans" and are one of the most important sights in the USA. Especially Gallup and the neighboring town Window Rock in Arizona are often designated as the capital cities of the native inhabitants.

Location
The airport is 1 mile southwest of Gallup. Passengers arriving by car please take the Interstate 40 to exit #16 or #20 and follow the signs to the airport on the State Highway 118 (West Highway 66). Alternatively take the State Highway 118 directly from downtown Gallup. Rail passengers take the "Southwest Chief" to Gallup Amtrak Rail Station and then take a taxi.
