Location
The airport is located about 50 km south west of downtown, near the artificial harbour Jebel Ali. Dubai World Central airport is easy to reach on the highways E-311 (Emirates Road) and E-611 (Dubai Bypass Road).

The "Purple Line" of Dubai Metro will take some time to complete, after this has been completed there will be a direct shuttle transfer to Terminals 1 and 3 of Dubai International Airport.
