Durango-La Plata County Airport is in the administrative district of the same name, in southwest Colorado. Location
The airport is about 11 miles southwest of the city’s border. Motorists should take the US Highway 160 from Durango to the junction with the State Highway 172, then follow this to the junction with County Road 309, the airport is then signposted.

A regular bus service to and from the airport is operated by Durango Transportation.
