Daallo Airlines is today a major player connecting the Horn of Africa to the Global Village. It may surprise you that we have been around for over 12 years. The company has grown from humble beginning with one Cessna aircraft in 1991, to become one of the largest flights network in Africa. Daallo Airlines is nominated as one of the show case success stories in Africa by Mr. Fick, David S, in his book of "Entrepreneurship in Africa: A study of Success". In the first 10 years, the company utilized mostly Russian made aircrafts including TU154, IL18, AN24 and L410. These aircrafts proved to be very reliable and strong in situations with minimum airport facilities and unpaved landing stripes. In the last 2 years some of the Russian aircrafts were substituted with more modern aircrafts including B767-200, B757-200 and B737-200 and A310-300. Our challenge is to ensure that we continuously improve the quality of our services and products. The launching of direct flights between Djibouti and Paris in July 2001 and flights between Djibouti and London on October 2002 was truly a remarkable milestone in the history of Daallo Airlines. Horn of Africa is our home but we are spreading our wings. We fly to a growing number of destinations including London and Paris. We boast the largest distribution network in the Horn with 15 destinations with a fleet of 10 aircrafts. The destinations we operate include Asmara, Addis Ababa, Bosasso, Burao, Djibouti, Dubai, Hargeisa, Galkacyo, Jeddah, Mogadishu, Nairobi and Sharjah. Safety, customer satisfaction, product quality is our goal. We are proud of our African heritage and believe that it adds a special touch to the comfort and efficiency that characterizes 'Daallo Airlines'.
