The international Tucson Airport is the second most important airport in Arizona after Phoenix-Harbor, and is also the largest traffic hub in Pima County, which borders on the neighbouring country Mexico.

The airport is about 7 miles south of downtown Tucson. Motorists please take the Interstate-Highway I-10 Tucson-Benson, to exit Nr. 267 (Valencia Road) and then drive westwards on the Valencia Road to the airport. Alternatively take the Interstate-Highway I-19. Follow this from Tucson southwards to exit nr.95 and then head east on Valencia Road to the airport. Rail passengers take trains to Tucson Amtrak Rail Station and then take the Airport-Bus operated by the local transport provider Sun Tran.
